Created attachment 14532 [details] journal telling the problem On my laptop Thinkpad T510 the screen freeze occasionally. I can work for several hours, including suspend-resume, then suddenly, I think usually when I change between open applications, the desktop visually freezes - only mouse pointer visually works. ctrl-alt-F4 etc do not visually switch screen. I bring it down cleanly (minus lost work in open app) using REISUB. Relevant part of journal attached. It was running desktop kernel but I have now switched to linus kernel to see if it seem to work better or worse. Happened again, now with linus 6.6.28. This time i was briefly away from the laptop and when i returned i clicked an open application window and the screen went totally black except for mouse arrow which was moveable. Used REISUB to bring it down. Same problem now hit using kernel desktop-6.6.22-1.mga9
