Description of problem: Multiple copies of Nextcloud-client are started when nextcloud is upgraded started in (3.11 client). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.12 How reproducible: upgrade nextcloud-client and reboot. Two copies will be running. Plasma and Xfce both have the issue, but I suspect it is across the board. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade Nextcloud-Client 2. reboot 3. Two sessions running. Look in Autostart and you'll find two copies being started.
I do not see it here on mga9-64 Plasma. Was OK both before and after update; only one instance. In nextcloud-client settings I have checkmark to start it automatically. In /.config/autostart/ there is only one Nextcloud.desktop Plasma is set to not restore windows.

Hi. The only time I have seen that is when 2 different users had launched the client. For instance, when I was root in a console and ran nextcloud-client. Do the 2 occurrences belong to the same user?
Yes - same user. I wonder if 3.11 had the issue, but fixed in 3.12?
(In reply to Brian Rockwell from comment #3) > Yes - same user. I wonder if 3.11 had the issue, but fixed in 3.12? Not sure why if so. 3.12.3 is out. I can propose an update. I have already updated my desktop PC and haven't had any issue. With Plasma, I have had issues if I was forcing the start through KDE settings, but no issue when the automatic start was set through Nextcloud-client.
Christian, assigning to you as you are the principle current maintainer, and already dealing with it.

Hi Brian, you have done quite many tests for https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33043 Is this issue solved with 3.12.3 update? Thanks
Yes it appears to be.
