in an single DE plasma x86_64 install (with kf5, plasma and KDE-apps bug packages installed) similar response but only 2 kmail windows.
Can you please put the relevant SRPM exact version. (I do not have a Cauldron system to do this). Noting that this is Cauldron, I believe Plasma is in the middle of major updates. BTAIM assigning appropriately.
