Description Kristoffer Grundström 2024-03-13 11:38:00 CET
Description of problem: As I browsed to find the meson-setup macro I found that we don't have it in the Cauldron version 1.3.2 which is as of today a bit old. Could we push the latest release with the meson-setup macro included?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.4.0

How reproducible: All the time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit https://altlinux.pkgs.org/sisyphus/classic-noarch/rpm-macros-meson-1.3.2-alt1.noarch.rpm.html
2. Look under Download section and you'll see that this package gets built from the meson src.rpm
3. Look at the Path further down and you'll see that it adds the meson-setup macro which is now the supported method to build meson packages instead of %meson_build.

Meson 1.3.0 was released on 19 November 2023, & in Cauldron 18th December.
Feb 15 2024 - new version: 1.3.2
So hardly "a bit old".

Meson 1.4.0 was released on 12 March 2024 (as the title says...)
Assigning to David G who mostly updates this.

Summary: Add Meson 1.4.0 to Cauldron (New release today) => Please update Meson to 1.4.0 in Cauldron (New release yesterday)
Source RPM: meson => meson-1.3.1-1.mga9.src.rpm, 1.3.2 in Cauldron
