Description Olav Vitters 2011-11-08 09:58:52 CET
Ideally I'd like to see a systemd script for every sysvinit script.

Suggest to make rpmlint warn that it notices a sysvinit script (/etc/init.d/ or /etc/rc.d/init.d/), without a systemd script.

Coupled with bug 3293 (to make check.mageia.org show the rpmlint output), I have an easy way to improve my packages.

Would this still be relevant, or are there no longer packages with sysvinit scripts and no systemd equivalent?

Still relevant actually. Just do a urpmf /etc/init.d and you'll see them. IIRC sometimes it is in another symlinked directory.
