Description of problem: In Plasma Wayland session, current version of smplayer not reproduce videos embedded in smplayer window (just play the audio and black zone in video zone) using mpv How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: Start Plasma Wayland session Start smplayer Enable in Options -> Preferences -> General , mpv as Multimedia engine In Video tab, enable Wayland support Apply the settings Try to reproduce a Video Just get the audio If in Video tab you disable Wayland support the video plays well in a external mpv window I build smplayer-23.12.0 from cauldron src.rpm in mageia 9 and can play videos embeded in the smplayer window with the Wayland support option enabled

We're all volunteers here, Otto, all with lives away from Mageia. For example, I'm a farmer by trade, so once the growing season starts my time for Mageia will be considerably more limited than it is at the moment. We appreciate any contribution that you can make.
