The colors are fine but no the size A few small like the current one will be good

I have done tweaks to my system to make the icon bigger like this but my system can't make the icon go all the way to the edges (yet?), there is a couple pixels border on my panel. Even with the two pixel border, i think my panel still looks really very good though.

Quite right. Good to know you like it, thanks. I've improved the 'on light' version (added 1px shadow and highlight) and providing two new 48px versions.
