Unfortunately the bugreport lacks many informations and is totally confusing because of the irrelevant lspcidrake output... BUT it is easy to reproduce: - 64bit Plasma VB installation here - install drakwizard and drakwizard-base - start drakwizard from the terminal - perform "any" action in drakwizard and try to finish the configuration - e.g. try to setup DHCP-Server - click through the steps to setup the DHCP-Server -> drakwizard will crash with the message posted by Matthias... When starting the DHCP-Server setup from within MCC, the setup loops forever and can't finish...
Thank you for trying this, and describing what turns out to be a real fault. Assigning to 'tools' group..

This bug affects cauldron too. I reproduced trying to configure dhcp-server, like sturmvogel did. It gave the same output as Matthias. (tested on gnome/wayland here) There are other issues with this package. Trying to configure openssh-server, it fails with : $ drakwizard Too late to run INIT block at /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/Glib/Object/Introspection.pm line 257. Ignore the following Glib::Object::Introspection & Gtk3 warnings Subroutine Gtk3::main redefined at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Gtk3.pm line 539. reading file /etc/ssh/sshd_config failed: Permission denied $ (And it closes) Trying to configure ntp server, I'm asked to provide a password, but then a message box says "No package named ntp".

(In reply to Guillaume Bedot from comment #4) > Trying to configure ntp server, I'm asked to provide a password, but then a > message box says "No package named ntp". This error seem very different from the other. I suggest you open a separate bug for drakwizard configuring ntp.
