Description PC LX 2024-01-07 15:39:57 CET
Description of problem:

The current packaged version of xxhash (v0.8.1) has a few bugs that are fixed in the most recent version of xxhash (v0.8.2). I have stumble on one of those bugs.

I compiled and have been using v0.8.2 for a few weeks. It fixes the issue I stumble upon and noticed no regressions.

I request the package xxhash and related ones be updated to the latest version, v0.8.2.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Thank you for the helpful report.
We have had the new version in Cauldron for some months; assigning this bug to DavidG who did that.

Advisory with SRPM from comment 3 added to SVN. Please remove the "advisory" keyword if it needs to be changed. It also helps when obsolete advisories are tagged as "obsolete"
