Description of problem: Open a xterm, terminal (or console); start emacs in no window mode: emacs -nw that's it, open another terminal and killall emacs :) Cheers, Chris.

Just noticed that emacs-nox, which comes from the same source emacs-23.3-2.mga2.src.rpm but compiled without X support works fine. So that may still be related to interaction with X and emacs, even in -nw mode. Cheers, Chris.
That was a nasty bug exposed by glib >= 2.31 There was an infinite loop in text mode select() when built with gtk support. See also http://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=9754 Fixed in emacs-23.3-3.mga2

Hi there, just to say that 23.3-3 has not yet landed on the mirrors. Any issues with the bs or that's normal? Cheers, Chris.
Looks like the package had not been submitted properly, I've just sent it again. Sorry about that.
No pb, landed and works perfectly! thanks!!
