Description Markus Robert Keßler 2023-11-02 18:31:18 CET
Carla comes along with several internal plugins taken from Zynaddsubfx project.
When adding Zynaddsubfx Synth plugin to the rack, it can be used to play,
but it is not possible to open the "custom ui".

Instead, in the logs, the following error shows up:

/*

======= Logs cleared ========
zynaddsubfx-ui: ERROR: Cannot find pixmaps/knob.png
CarlaPipeCommon::_writeMsgBuffer(..., 15) - failed with -1 (true), message was:
__carla-quit__

*/

This looks to me like 'pixmaps/knob.png' is missing in the files section of the spec file or something like that.

Thank you for the report.
Giving it to DavidG who just fixed more significant problems with this application.

Hi David,  Lewis,
I've seen that the same occurs in latest Ubuntu. They know that there is an issue and completely disabled the "open GUI" method.

So, this is not a matter of packaging, but there seems to be something wrong with the source from upstream.

Would you please be so nice and report the issue there?
Thanks!
