Description Marco De Salvo 2023-10-18 19:46:20 CEST
Theme name: Breeze
Kernel version = 6.4.9-desktop-4.mga9
Distribution=Mageia release 9 (Official) for x86_64
CPU=Intel(R) Core(TM) m3-6Y30 CPU @ 0.90GHz

I select the option "Automatically show selected packages" and for the session it works. When I exit Rpmdrake and enter again that preference is reset. The same does not happen for the other entries of the same menu (complete package name search, use regular expression for search): they are correctly remembered.

I confirm that for cauldron, but do not see any difference between having that preference selected, or not. Both with and without that preference, when I select texlive-texmf, a whole bunch of dependencies become visibly selected (orange disk with white down arrow in it), too, after I agree with the pop up that lists texlive-texmf and all packages that would have to be installed along with it.

Anyway, assigning to the mageiatools maintainers.

If there is indeed no difference in behaviour, then the option seems no longer needed.
