MGA9-64 Plasma, AMD Phenom II X4, Radeon HD 8490 graphics. This system had been recently upgraded, includng Kodi, from MGA8, using the mgaapplet. Kodi had not been run on this system since the upgrade, so I ran it before updating, receiving some sort of eror message about the iptvsimple PVR being disabled. I decided to try updating before doing anything else. There were no installation issues. Running it again, I discovered the MGA8 video playlist had been erased, so I made a new one from the system's Video directory, then played one of the videos on the list. Then I went to the TV section, and found it populated with channels from the previous IPTV channel list. I scrolled through the list, attempting to play one once in a while. I found several listed as "geo-blocked," but I also found a few that would play. There's a lot here to look at, but everything I tried seemed to work OK, so I'm sending it on. Validating.

The tainted packages will need QA approval as well. Given that 4 months have elapsed since the last packages were pushed, this should be treated as a new issue rather than piggybacking on this original one.
