Sorry for your angst. We shall need more information. 1) To summarise your system, post directly the output of: $ inxi -MSN 2) Please say how you get the system to Hibernate, and wake it up from that. 3) The journal for the current session after the hibernate/wake-up: $ journalctl -b --no-hostname > journal.txt $ xz journal.txt [produces compressed file journal.txt.xz] Then attach the compressed journal to this bug.

Sorry, my answer was written several times.
Thank you for the system information & journal. > Energy saving configured as follows: > Suspend session automatically = 15 minutes > Note: The "Standby, hibernate after a certain period of [in]activity" box is > unchecked. Confusing, but I take it that your system sleeps after 15m idle. Assigning to kernel; we have other bugs in the same area but not so specific as this one: failing to re-start the network.

Yes, it may not be hibernation, but it is computer sleep. Hibernation is not checked in the options. I discussed this in this thread (in French) : https://www.mageialinux-online.org/forum/topic-30756-1+mageia-9-rc1-kdeplasma.php#m313767
Setting for errata. - Because release is very soon, I guess more than user is affected, and we could write down how to fix.
