Description of problem: Problem with the Energy-Management: After changing to "Standbye" or "Hibernation" Mode the PC can't be awakened. Must be reset or switched off and then on. The system is an Mageia9-Beta. Upgraded from Mageia8. In Mageia8 these functions were faultless and reliable. Desktop is KDE/Plasma. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Use the Engergy-Management modes "Standbye" and "Hibernation". Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use "Star"- button. 2. In menu go to "Energy-Management" 3. Klick "Standbye" or "Hibernation" 4. PC seems to go to "Standbye" or "Hibernation" Mode 5. When trying to awake the pc it don't wake up 6. To restart the pc it needs to be reset or powered "off" and the "on" by power- button
Thank you for the report. I think we need the system journal including the "Standby" or "Hibernate" that you cannot get out of. If you can reproduce the situation, and can only re-start the computer by powering it off/on, in the new session, please do: $ journalctl --no-hostname -b -1 > journal.txt $ xz journal.txt which will produce a compressed journal of the previous session, 'journal.txt.xz' Please attach that file to this bug.
