Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): emacs-23.3-2.mga2.src.rpm How reproducible: I haven't tried to reproduce it by uninstalling/reinstalling Emacs. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Emacs. 2. ls -l /etc/alternatives/emacs

Is it still valid? I can't reproduce: my /etc/alternatives/emacs points to the right /usr/bin/emacs-23.3

Actually I just managed to reproduce it. With an update of Mageia 1 to current Cauldron. So there is a problem in the update-alternative part of the emacs spec.

Should be fixed with emacs-23.3-5. Thanks for the report.
