Description Dave Hodgins 2023-05-27 04:22:06 CEST
Selecting Updates Configuration from the context menu for mgaapplet shows
a configuration dialog which includes a checkbox option labeled
"Check for newer Mageia releases"

The bug is that when it's checked, it doesn't check, when it's blank it
does check which is the opposite of how checkbox options are normally used.

Currently the upgrade option is only shown if using mgaapplet --testing
and the checkbox is blank.

This is strange. Now I can't get it to show upgrade at all.

Running mgaapplet --testing in konsole shows it's trying to fetch
https://releases.mageia.org/api/b testing-x86_64?product=Default&version=8&mgaonline_version=3.31

but it's not found.

Closing.

It's working properly in my x86_64 vb guest, but not in my host system x86_64
m8 install

I'll reopen I find this make sense when I figure out what is wrong in the
host m8 install.
