It should be nice to get a feed back during the upload phase, something like a percentage or a progress info, as when installing via urpmi for instance. Thanks in advance, Angelo

Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja

I support this request. Not all of us are blessed with a high upstream bandwith, so it would be nice to see how long we have to wait before an upload is complete.

No action for over 2 years. Should this stay open?

Funny. This is not an old bug... is just an not implemented but asked new feature. So imo it should be. One day o good soul could implement it :)
Mgarepo sync uses the command "svn commit". For what I found, svn commit doesn't provide progress information. The only way could be to add a counter for the number of file copied/remaining, or perhaps the total volume transfered/to transfer, but updated only file by file. Is such an info usefull?

This is now implemented in cauldron. Does this be updated too in Mageia 9?
