HP Probook 6550b, mag8-32 Xfce system, using the server kernel. I did not have Thunderbird set up on this system, but attempted to re-sreate the fault in Mageia 8 by installing Thunderbird-102.10.0-1. There were no issues, so I don't know if Mageia 8 i586 wasn't affected, or if it's just my machine. No matter which, there were no installation issues updating to thunderbird-102.10.1-1. I ran it, and started but did not complete the process to set up an email account. As far as I went, this is OK in Mageia 8 i586. Changing the heading to indicate this is an ordinary Thunderbird update for Mageia 8, both arches, so maybe we can get some more testers looking at it.

Checked the install of Thunderbird 102.10.0-1 on real i586 hardware, Foolishness, my Dell Inspiron 5100, 32-bit Xfce, using kernel-desktop. No problems installing the US English version of Thunderbird along with the existing Firefox-esr 102.10.0-1, using urpmi. It's looking like Mageia 8 was not affected by the i586 conflict.
Same hardware as comment 4, mga8-64 Plasma system. No installation issues. Checked newsgroups, sent and received mail using Gmail and Yahoo accounts. Looks good here as far as I go, but I do not use the calendar.
MGA8-64 MATE on Acer Aspire 5253 No installation issues. Installing over previous version works OK. Usual testing to and from another account on my desktop PC without and with attachments all work OK.

FWIW, testing TB 102.10.1 using mga9: Reinstalled my main system to Mga9, kept home incl mail and all settings. Thunderbird just keep working OK: Swedish locale settings and local mail IMAP (offline, IMAP to synk to server) SMTP

MGA8 VM 64 LXqt 2Go RAM Updated with QA repo and rpms: thunderbird 102.10.1 1.mga8 x86_64 thunderbird-fr 102.10.1 1.mga8 noarch TB is ok, send and receive mail ok with Google Gmail account. Calendar synch is ok too.
