Description Nikolay Sabelnikov 2023-04-22 19:36:13 CEST
During installation, the installer lacks disk partitioning for btrfs sub-volumes, as well as the ability to configure snapshots. Btrfs is already stable, I have been using it for many years. It's time for you to take advantage of this.

Thank you for the suggestion, which does however look rather involved.
Noting the request anyway.

Comment 2 Nikolay Sabelnikov 2023-04-22 20:35:13 CEST
And here everything is simple. You partition the disk into a btrfs partition, and then partition that partition into sub-volumes.

btrfs is available since ages in Mageia. The only missing thing is the snapshot management. But this was already requested in other bugs. Dup of 18460. Also see bug 26836
