On Cauldron LxQt, invoking Bluetooth on a box which has it sticks on a 'searching for devices' window which has no icon. Turning off Blutooth displays its standard icon with a red cross. Ben's case is a bit different. Can you say what desktop, and in particular its icon theme (Adwaita in my case). Look in its preferences, appearance etc. Joequant normally looks after blueberry, so assigning this to him. CC'ing DavidG who updated most recent version.
