Description of problem:
If the Mageia Welcome App could use the default Mageia background, it would align the app with other Mageia artwork -GRub, plymouth, wallpaper and MCC

I see that Mageia Welcome has its own simple background. It should be not difficult to make it use the currentm default Mageia background, which is in a known location.

Assigning to papoteur, he should know.

Hello,
The actual background isn't a picture. Adding a picture would need to manage adaptation to window size, for example to avoid a mosaic.
This is not straight, thus I wouldn't take the risk to give another reason to delay Mageia 9.
