Fedora has issued an advisory today (April 13):

This stemmed from a discussion on oss-security here:

I made the same change as Fedora in polkit-122-2.mga9.

It sounds very hypothetical and we probably don't need to do it for Mageia 8, but I'm filing this bug just to have it on file.

Assigning this globally. In the light of Luig'is comment above, this might reasoably be closed 'wontfix' for M8; M9 already done.
