Description of problem:

The pulseeffects GUI isn't displayed anymore when lauched from the menu
and is not useable anymore 

When lauched from a console we get this :


(pulseeffects:19077): GLib-GIO-WARNING **: 14:34:59.125: Unable to look up enum nick ‘Downward’ via GType

(pulseeffects:19077): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 14:34:59.125: The schema default value for key 'mode' in schema 'com.github.wwmm.pulseeffects.compressor' was rejected by the binding mapping function.
Trappe pour point d'arrêt et de trace (core dumped)

How reproducible: each time you launch it

It's a known problem : the solution consists to provide :
pulseeffects-legacy 4.8.7
This version is provided in Cauldron but naturally can't be installed as it is inside Mageia8
It needs to be built for Mageia8 and provided as an update

I found a solution :
I used the srpm from Cauldron (pulseeffects-4.8.7-3.mga9)
I rebuilt it inside mock and got pulseeffects-4.8.7-3.mga8
I installed it as an update of pulseeffects-4.8.3-3.mga8
Everythin is OK now

It's not a bug : it may be closed

The bug doesn't happen on mageia8 
for pulseeffects-4.8.3-3 associated to lsp-plugins-1.1.28-1 from core repo


It is simply a problem of compatibility with lsp-plugins-1.2.2 that appeared when I packaged and installed lsp-plugins-1.2.2 on my Mageia8 computer to test it

I found a workaround by updating pulseeffects to 4.8.7 

Nevertheless it's good to know
