Updated the firmware under the server kernel and rebooted with the desktop kernel.

No ill effects.

Desktop with AMD Phenom II X4 910, AMD HD 8490 graphics, Atheros AR928X wifi, MGA8-64 Plasma.

Dell Dimension e520, Intel Core2Quad Q6600, AMD HD 8570 graphics, rtl8192cu wifi, MGA8-64 and MGA8-32 Plasma.

No installation issues, and after a reboot, no regressions noted.
