MGA8-64 MATE on Acer Aspire 5253, no PVR-equipment available
Installed first core/updates_testing and beeen able to select a library and play an mpeg OK.
Continuing for the tainted versions.

Removed the core versions and installed the tainted ones, with the same results.
If someone can test the connection to a PVR device, I'll agree on the OK.

Updated using qarepo, first to the core versions, then tainted. The only packages installed on my test machine are kodi, kodi-addon-devel, and kodi-pvr-iptvsimple. The iptvsimple addon was not part of this update.

I had not used iptv since May, and had to reconfigure it with a new m3u file. This time I used one found at https://www.firesticktricks.com/kodi-iptv.html. Once configured, it gave me a choice of over 7000 free TV channels to play. Some were labeled as "geo-blocked," and those wouldn't play (expected behavior), but everything I tried that wasn't "geo-blocked" played perfectly. This was true of both the core and tainted versions.
