Are you running kernel 6.1.0-1 from testing ?
Comment 2 Dave Hodgins 2022-12-17 22:02:22 CET
95% sure I didn't have the testing kernel installed. I did a netinstall
over that vb guest since then trying to properly test attempted fixes
for the sound problem.

Want me to recreate the problem to be sure?

Comment 3 Thomas Backlund 2022-12-17 22:27:32 CET
Well, not needed for testing the 6.1.0-1 kernel..

There is now a kernel-6.1.0-2.mga9 building and heading to core release with a fix for an issue in 6.1 series kernels that gave rpm random hiccups...

so if that error happends again when running a 6.1.0-2 kernel, then it's atleast not the kernel bug I was suspecting...
