When I change my surname in options (in Bugzilla or in Identity) the changes are temporary and everything reverts to the previous state after some time.

- that your changes are reverted in Bugzilla sounds correct (although I agree it may be unexpected by you); - however, changing in identity.m.o should indeed push the changes in Bugzilla (the next time you log in Bugzilla at least), and should not be reverted. Do you confirm that if you only change your details in identity.m.o: - it's reverted? - it's not pushed to other mageia.org apps when you log into them?

I could be a glitch in Bugzilla. I just tried to log in to Bugzilla a few minutes ago (just to remove myself from the CC), and an error msg said something to the effect that there was a conflict, that another account used my email adresse. I retried, same message. After a few minutes, I retried a second time, and everything is back to normal. For testing, why not create a test account, called test{something} ?

Note that Bugzilla uses the value in the 'cn' (common Name) attribute in identity as the 'Your real name' preference, it does not really use givenName or sn. I tested making changes to the cn on identity, and on next login to bugzilla it was updated. Obviously, changing sn had no effect. If you still think there is a bug, please let me know what you tried, and what your expectation was, and re-open the bug if you think it is still a bug. It may be that we need more help on identity, describing how which attributes are used.
