Description of problem: kdenlive complains at startup about two missing optional packages : - mediainfo - glaxnimate glaxnimate does not seem to be packaged on Mageia. mediainfo is available on Mageia, but not installed as a dependency of Kdenlive. You do not say whether despite its complaints, kdenlive continues otherwise OK. $ urpmq --requires-recursive kdenlive | grep mediainfo $ urpmq --whatrequires-recursive mediainfo ps3mediaserver Yes, there is no connection kdenlive-mediainfo. For 'glaxnimate', have to live without. Assigning to NicolasL who deals with kdenlive.

Should be fixed with mlt-7.12.0-2.mga9 which have now glaxnimate module enables.

I confirm that kdenlive no longer complains that glaxnimate and mediainfo are missing.
