Description Jose Manuel López 2022-11-17 16:01:31 CET
Description of problem: I have to renew the digital certificate and in Spain, the gobern have maked a package that configure their certificates in all browsers and all operative systems:

This website where is the package for download:"https://www.sede.fnmt.gob.es/descargas/descarga-software/instalacion-software-generacion-de-claves".

I have installed the rpm package in Mageia 8 Plasma, and the app install fine.

I go to website "https://www.sede.fnmt.gob.es/certificados/certificado-de-representante/persona-juridica" for request the digital certificate and when Firefox have to connect with the fnmt handler appears: Unable to create I/O slave. Klauncher replied: Unknown protocol <fnmtcr>.

I have checked to mime list, the icon.desktop of fnmt app, the network.protocol in firefox and everything seems to be fine.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Klauncher-Plasma-Fnmtp app-Firefox-Mageia8

How reproducible: Go to website and install tool. After go to website to request certificate and appears the bug.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to website app.
2. Go to website for request certificate
3. The bug appears.

This is the terminal output of Firefox in the moment of the bug. By the way, here I get errors when starting firefox that didn't appear in the past (tested on Mageia 7 Plasma)

This is a screenshot of the bug in a clean profile of Firefox. This bug appears in Chromium too.

Thank you for the report and supporting evidence.
Is it worth trying yet another browser like Falkon?

Assigning initially to the KDE group. If they think it is not for them, let them judge where to pass it.

First of all, forgive the google translation.

For all those interested in using the fnmt program.

For the error that appears about fnmtcr
modify file /usr/share/applications/configuradorfnmt.desktop
adding at the end the line “MimeType=x-scheme-handler/fnmtcr;” without the quotes

For the error that appears afirma
modify the file /usr/share/applications/autofirma.desktop
add at the end “MimeType=x-scheme-handler/asserts;” without the quotes
execute later as appropriate

xdg-mime default autofirma.desktop x-scheme-handler/fnmtcr

xdg-mime default autosignature.desktop x-scheme-handler/asserts
and finally

update-desktop-database

This is not a Mageia specific bug nor KDE, this is a third-party package which we don't provide on our repo so we can't fix this issue.

Hi all,

I have been looking into this after the last comments. And I have found the solution.

- Go to "/usr/share/applications" and search for "configuradorfnmt".
- Open with text editor (root permissions are needed for editing).
- Add at the end the following: MimeType=x-scheme-handler/fnmtcr;

The problem comes because this shortcut is missing this line and I had it configured with "configuradorfnmt" instead of "fnmtcr".

With this it opens fine from Firefox, so we can consider the error solved.
