Description Kristoffer Grundström 2022-11-15 02:43:46 CET
Description of problem: I'd like to request that Ventoy gets added to Cauldron for testing and later to Mageia 9 when it seems to fit. I found the spec file by searching on pkgs.org and PCLinuxOS was the only rpm based distro in the list of hits. Please feel free to adjust the spec file accordingly. I'll add the warnings and errors in an attached log.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.0.81

Comment 3 Dave Hodgins 2022-11-15 04:19:55 CET
It's been rejected before due to too many binary only parts in what's supposed to
be the source code. There is no source for those binary blobs.

For example, look at Ventoy-1.0.62/VtoyTool/vtoytool/00/vtoytool_64

While it's a very useful tool, it's not open source so Mageia will not
distribute it.

Closing as invalid.
