Description of problem: I just burned Mageia-Cauldron-netinstall-nonfree-x86_64.iso to my brand new USB stick and as I rebooted into the boot menu (F12 during startup) I see a message saying that I need to load the kernel first. This has never happened to me before. How reproducible: Everytime when I boot the installer for Cauldron from the USB stick. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open your desired web browser 2. Go to https://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/mageia/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/install/images/Mageia-Cauldron-netinstall-nonfree-x86_64.iso and download the iso. 3. Burn the iso to a USB stick using dd. 4. Reboot the computer and boot to the USB stick. 5. When you press Enter/Return to install Cauldron a smaller shell window appears telling you to load the kernel first and to press any key to continue. Pressing any key reproduces this issue all the time.

Try again and use isodumper to copy it to the usb stick. isodumper ensures the copy has completed which is not the case with dd if you reboot or remove the stick too soon after the dd command returns to the command prompt. Also make sure the size of the downloaded copy of the iso is ... 111149056 Oct 23 18:12 Mageia-Cauldron-netinstall-nonfree-x86_64.iso
