Description Lewis Smith 2022-10-11 21:12:01 CEST
Description of problem:

Using the 'claws-mail-litehtml_viewer-plugin' crashes the program when it tries to display an HTML message:
 $ claws-mail
(claws-mail:6417): Gtk-WARNING **: 20:53:32.339: Negative content width -3 (allocation 17, extents 10x10) while allocating gadget (node button, owner GtkButton)
output all the time, until you hit an HTML msg:
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Replacing the 'litehtml_viewer-plugin' by the old and less good 'fancy-plugin' works OK (within its limits).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
claws-mail-litehtml_viewer-plugin-4.1.0-8.mga9
SRPM above.

How reproducible:
Every time for an HTML message..

Assigning to Julien who is the registered maintainer. Would copy wally if poss.

Please test again with claws-mail-4.1.0-9.mga9 built with bundled litehtml. It should be available on mirrors anytime soon.

Comment 2 Lewis Smith 2022-10-16 21:21:09 CEST
Thank you Jani.
Having just updated my Cauldron system, I now have:
 claws-mail-4.1.0-10.mga9
 claws-mail-litehtml_viewer-plugin-4.1.0-10.mga9
I changed back from 'fancy-plugin' to this one, and am pleased to say - it works, no crash.

Thanks again.
