MGA8-64 MATE on Acer Aspire. This updates an existing installation. Launcing thunderbird from CLI opens OK, but then each operation on the thunderbird window takes at least 30 sec. or can be triggered by switching to the konsole, then I see the change , and then switching back to thunderbird. And that goes for every operation in the thunderbird window, even just putting focus on another field or typing a single character. Totally unusable.

Closing thunderbird and re-opening makes it work at an acceptable speed for this old laptop. Continuing testing.
Sending and receiving mails with and without attachments works OK, with one remark: Every mail I send from here is shown twice in the Sent folder. I've seen this behavior on the previous version as well (test done while testing firejail on 26/9/2022) and if I remember well on a previous update as well. The curious thing is that does not happen on the same account on my dektop PC, but this one runs Plasma i.s.o. MATE.
Since the issue in Comment 12 seems to be unique to Herman's system, and it has happened before so isn't a new regression, I'm going to OK this to get these bugfixes to our users. Validating. Advisory in Comment 7.

Updated from 102.3.2 in MGA8-64 Plasma. Works fine for me. - POP3 and IMAP accounts ok. - Settings and spanish translation ok. - Send and receive ok. - Addons and themes ok. - Attach ok. - Signature ok. No issues here.
