Description Kristoffer Grundström 2022-09-08 02:07:33 CEST
Description of problem: I had to rebuild the python-virt-firmware src.rpm and as it was building I saw the warnings in the attached file. They should be corrected.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.98

How reproducible: All the time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the src.rpm of python3-virt-firmware.
2. Put all the content of it in ~/rpmbuild/SOURCES/ except for the spec file.
3. Put the spec file on the desktop.
4. Run rpmbuild -ba python-virt-firmware.spec
5. See the warnings during the output.

You did not build the package in a clean environment. Cauldron has only python 3.10. So your python 3.8 debris is from a not properly setup build environment.

Closing as INVALID.

I would like some clarification, please.
How can a stable Mageia 8 environment not be properly setup when Python3 is regarded?

rpm -q python3
python3-3.8.12-1.mga8

Distributor ID:	Mageia
Description:	Mageia 8
Release:	8
Codename:	mga8

I haven't (at least to my knowledge) installed Python 3.10 in Mageia 8.
