I'm not sure but I think it's using flash. Do you have lightspark-mozilla-plugin installed?

Not reproducable here. wether.com is using HLS stream. *) Did you try firefox troubleshooting mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode You have some old links in your /usr/lib64/libavcodec output from 2 working systems: $ ls -l /usr/lib64/libavco* lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Mai 17 15:50 /usr/lib64/libavcodec.so.58 -> libavcodec.so.58.91.100* -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 14076640 Mai 17 15:51 /usr/lib64/libavcodec.so.58.91.100* *) No serious website is using flasplayer anymore as it is EOL since 2020 and blocked from execution in all browsers since 2021. lightspark-mozilla-plugin is an useleas dead extension which isn't working/supported in any browser anymore as it is an NPAPI plugin. https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30163#c1

Do you have > lightspark-mozilla-plugin > installed? Yes as mentioned: lib64lightspark0-0.8.5-1.mga8 The old links for libavcodec should'nt really be a problem as the main one points to 58.
FWIW, First link in description works for me too. Second, I can not try as I left linked in.

firefox-91.13.0-1.mga8 https://weather.com/storms/hurricane/news/2022-08-29-atlantic-hurricane-season-update-tropical-depression-storm works fine here. (But Falkon cannot handle it - nor BBC videos). Not in LinkedIn, so unable to try the second link.
Bruno, given that everyone else can see the first demo link you gave (but none of us meddle with LinkedIn to try that), can you give other video URLs that do not work for you for us to try? And from comment 2: Did you try firefox troubleshooting mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode

FTR, On my new mga9 based machine, freshly installed (not updated since mandriva years), it works flawlessly.
