under up to date cauldron, my kde sessions is randomly being killed just after being logged for 10 seconds or less. Looking at /var/log/Xorg.0.log I see these logs : [ 52.827] (EE) [ 52.827] (EE) Backtrace: [ 52.828] (EE) 0: /usr/libexec/Xorg (OsLookupColor+0x139) [0x5a5b99] [ 52.829] (EE) 1: /lib64/libc.so.6 (__sigaction+0x50) [0x7feed755d3a0] [ 52.829] (EE) 2: /usr/libexec/Xorg (NewCurrentScreen+0x1b5) [0x44a155] [ 52.829] (EE) 3: /usr/libexec/Xorg (MaybeDeliverEventsToClient+0x4b3) [0x44bac3] [ 52.830] (EE) 4: /usr/libexec/Xorg (MaybeDeliverEventsToClient+0x9a8) [0x44bfb8] [ 52.830] (EE) 5: /usr/libexec/Xorg (WindowsRestructured+0x163) [0x44cf13] [ 52.830] (EE) 6: /usr/libexec/Xorg (InitProximityClassDeviceStruct+0x2323) [0x51eb63] [ 52.830] (EE) 7: /usr/libexec/Xorg (XkbHandleActions+0x1d5) [0x5471d5] [ 52.831] (EE) 8: /usr/libexec/Xorg (XkbRemoveResourceClient+0x76f) [0x54063f] [ 52.831] (EE) 9: /usr/libexec/Xorg (XkbRemoveResourceClient+0x92a) [0x5407fa] [ 52.831] (EE) 10: /usr/libexec/Xorg (TimerSet+0x185) [0x59f795] [ 52.831] (EE) 11: /usr/libexec/Xorg (WaitForSomething+0x228) [0x59f9e8] [ 52.831] (EE) 12: /usr/libexec/Xorg (SendErrorToClient+0xf3) [0x43f543] [ 52.831] (EE) 13: /usr/libexec/Xorg (InitFonts+0x3ac) [0x44363c] [ 52.832] (EE) 14: /lib64/libc.so.6 (__libc_start_call_main+0x67) [0x7feed754a177] [ 52.832] (EE) 15: /lib64/libc.so.6 (__libc_start_main+0x85) [0x7feed754a235] [ 52.832] (EE) 16: /usr/libexec/Xorg (_start+0x21) [0x42d9b1] [ 52.832] (EE) [ 52.832] (EE) Segmentation fault at address 0x7ffcb9b23000 [ 52.832] (EE) Fatal server error: [ 52.832] (EE) Caught signal 11 (Segmentation fault). Server aborting This doesn't happen often enough to be reproducible. This is similar to https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27319 , but this one was for mageia 7 and was fixed a long time ago. Now it seems the same bug happens again under cauldron. I'm using x11-server-xorg-21.1.3-8.mga9 x11-driver-video-nvidia-current-510.73.05-1.mga9.nonfree
Nicolas, sorry for the late reply. Please give the output of: lspcidrake -v | grep Card and attach the full /var/log/Xorg.0.log Assigning to the registered x11-server maintainer

Here're the card's infos : lspcidrake -v | grep Card Card:NVIDIA GeForce 635 series and later: NVIDIA Corporation|TU116 [GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER] [DISPLAY_VGA] (vendor:10de device:2187 subv:1458 subd:401a) (rev: a1) usb_storage : Generic|Flash Card Reader/Writer [Mass Storage|SCSI|Bulk-Only] (vendor:058f device:6366) As for /var/log/Xorg.0.log with the crash log, it was overwritten since then, I need to wait for the next crash to get a new one.
Created attachment 13326 [details] Xorg.0.log after the crash
See comment #3, I just got a crash this morning and saved the corresponding log
