Description Crinteanu Cristian 2022-05-29 12:35:34 CEST
Description of problem:
think something is broken udev OR drakx-tools
rules to compain 60-block.rules

Steps to Reproduce:

1. plug an usb stick then unmount it
2. udevadm monitor
3. bootloader-config --action update-splash
oopps... the usb stick gets mounted again as reinserted
now watch the monitor window

hmmm it seems that at least 60-block.rules do some weird things
putting sd*[0-9] in last line on that rule - the usb stick doesn't get mounted after issuing the bootloader-config. However the weird outputs still persists in monitor window

KERNEL[6936.291954] change /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:0d.0/ata1/host0/target0:0:0/0:0:0:0/block/sda/sda2 (block)

UDEV [6937.634755] change /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:0b.0/usb1/1-1/1-1:1.0/host3/target3:0:0/3:0:0:0/block/sdb/sdb1 (block)

if i test the rule putting sd*[!0-9] then the system acts like sd* - the usb stick gets mounted after issuing bootloader-config command as above

Something is not right here....
