Upstream has released version 2.36.2 which fixes several crashes and rendering issues:

Crashes already suggests security, and apparently there are some public webkit bug references here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT213260 so I guess we should expect another WSA too.

No - at least not in VirtualBox Mageia guests. I had hopes when I read this part at the referenced page above:
"Fix some pages showing empty content boxes when using GTK4." But there was no change when I ran drakconf in those guests.
Other than that, it passes all the usual tests: Evolution, Gnome Web (Epiphany), Atril, and zenity all seem to be working as they should. So, with no new regressions, I guess this is good to go.
