Description of problem:

Mageia 1 Alpha1 use alsa 1.0.23 release 
but the latest stable version is 1.0.24.
Please upgrade it from 1.0.23 (2010-04-16) to 1.0.24 (2011-01-31)  to fix bugs and add more sound chips supported.

OK, I updated alsa in SVN, just waiting for Thierry and Colin to review the split of the firmware from alsa-tools.
