Description of problem: cdp was provided in 2010.1 , so we bring it as an update. It is in core/updates_testing. One can test it inserting an audio cd and launching in a console : 'cdp'. Please note that you will ear no sound if there is no physical cable between the cd and the audios devices, even if the 'cd' volume is at 100%. This is the case in most of nowadays laptops...
Testing complete on i586. srpm is cdp-0.33-22.1.mga1.src.rpm Had to replace my working ide dvd burner with an old one that won't burn. The new one has a 4 connector plug, but it's just marked reserved. The old one does play audio through the connector, and cdp is working.
