Dell Inspiron 5100, 32-bit P4, Radeon RV200 graphics, ath3k wifi module, mga8-32 Xfce system, using the desktop kernel. No installation issues. No new regressions seen after the kernel was updated. I am seeing an issue where drakconf comes up with a blank screen, but I first noticed the issue before updating the kernel, so it is not a new regression. The issue was not there when the last kernel was installed, so most likely is being caused by another update somewhere along the way. I will be opening a separate bug on this issue.

This issue appears to be video-related somehow. Switching this hardware and kernel from the "radeon" driver to "vesa" allows drakconf to come up normally.

@ Herman: probably Bug 29830
@Morgan I guess so, but it is annoying as I get the same when I disable the QARepo and enable Core Update testing and use MCC - Install software.
@Herman I avoid the annoyance by never testing backported kernels and "regular" update kernels on the same install. But you are right, it's not good. And I don't understand why we don't fix it, but then I'm not a developer. Tested on a Probook 6550b, i3, Intel graphics, Intel wifi, mga8-64 Plasma system. The nonfree firmware updates had already been installed. No installation issues, and no regressions noted after the reboot.
