Description of problem: This can be considered a bump of bug #16181. Where the extra wallpapers for mageia release cannot be found in both KDE and GNOME. The reason behind this is that, those two DE search for backgrounds in the /usr/share/backgrounds directory. I managed to fix this temporarily by making a symlink to all of the contents in the /usr/share/mga/backgrounds directory. If there's a way to upload a patchfile here I can do it. If not I just added this line to the Makefile file in the mageia-theme at the install level on line 21. ln -s $(DESTDIR)$(sharedir)/mga/backgrounds/*.jpg /usr/share/backgrounds/

Thank you Omar for reporting this, and your fix. Since this applies to mageia-theme, and bearing in mind the KDE & Gnome CCs, assigning this to Donald who maintains that. Re-assign it if and as you see fit.

I think Donald is already assigned in this bug. If anything else is needed please let me know :D
This doesn't happen in Mageia 9 (and it's an old bug affecting 8). I'll close this as solved :)
