@ Carroll qbittorrent-2.9.2-2.mga2 is in cauldron now, so at least that version will be in Mga 2 stable qbittorrent-2.8.2-0.1.mga1 is in 1, we still don't have backport repositories, so the chance 2.9.x will ever be backported for 1 is very small. Can you live with waiting till Mga 2 stable and closing this report?

I did a test from the source rpm qBittorrent v2.9.3, I edited the SPEC and used the file qbittorrent-2.9.11.tar.gz and generated the rpm packages without problems in Mageia 2: Gravou: /home/chimarrao/rpm/SRPMS/qbittorrent-2.9.11-1mgabr2.src.rpm Gravou: /home/chimarrao/rpm/RPMS/x86_64/qbittorrent-2.9.11-1mgabr2.x86_64.rpm Gravou: /home/chimarrao/rpm/RPMS/x86_64/qbittorrent-nox-2.9.11-1mgabr2.x86_64.rpm Gravou: /home/chimarrao/rpm/RPMS/x86_64/qbittorrent-debug-2.9.11-1mgabr2.x86_64.rpm
Version: 2.9.11 crashes on exit lib64torrent-rasterbar6 0.15.9 x86_64 Steps to reproduce: start qBittorrent, exit qBittorrent. When you click exit minimizes to tray and crashes the program. Version: 2.9.10 does not have this bug. It might be better to update the version in the Cauldron for 2.9.10?
Just submitted qbittorrent-2.9.10-1.mga3 for cauldron, should be available on mirrors soon. Maybe for cauldron we can even switch to 3.0.0, problem is that i'm not using qbittorrent, so i don't if it works ok or not. As all releases in 2.9 branch seem to be bugfix releases, please test the cauldron version, if it works ok, i can push it to Mageia 2.

Summary: Request qBittorrent 2.9.0 RPM Package => qbittorent update to 2.9.10 or newer for bugfixes
I re-packed to Mageia 2. Everything is working perfectly. I tested opening and closing several times, as well as leave running for many hours. Everything ok in version 2.9.10!
@QA: As noone else reported problems against qbittorrent, and Anderson already has updated packages locally, what is your opinion about updating qbittorrent for Mageia 2?

I have used qbittorrent 2.9.10 every day and is very stable. Someone else has tested? It update is important, because it has many important BUGFIX!

Please remove the version of qbittorrent you use locally and install instead the version provided in the Core Updates Testing media, this way you can report here if it works well (tests on locally built RPMs are not valid for validating an update, that's why I'm asking this). Thanks! Don't forget to tell what arch you have tested.

I use Mageia 2 x86_64, I updated the repository Core Updates Testing media in MCC and did not find the qbittorrent 2.9.10. I looked on the link below and not found as well. http://mirror.yandex.ru/mageia/distrib/2/x86_64/media/core/updates_testing/ As I test in Mageia 2?
It's my fault. I misunderstood Florian assigning the bug report to QA. I thought there was an update candidate to test, but it was just for a question. No problem to provide qbittorrent 2.9.10 or even 2.9.11 to Mageia 2, it's almost only bug fixes, and no major feature change.

Here version 2.9.11 crashes on exit. When will be available the official packages to test in repository?

Anderson Carvalho, qbittorrent 2.9.10 now really is available in the updates_testing media, please test it if you can, thanks!
I'm already testing qbittorrent-2.9.10-1.mga2 from core/updates_testing since 2012-08-16. Everything works fine. I'd write the result after a week.
Works ok on Mageia 2 i568. Dont forget to report your results Anderson. Thanks.
