Description Yann Ciret 2022-01-28 10:04:11 CET
Hello Nicolas,

I know you updated this package very recently, but unfortunately, a new version 2.27.0 was published on 24 january.

So if you find the time to update to this new version, it will be great.

Thank you
Yann

fixed in mga8/9:

src:
    - skrooge-2.27.0-1.mga8

Advisory:

In mageia 8 we provided an old version of skrooge. The version 2.27.0 fixes several bugs.

So, is this still a Cauldron only bug, or should it have MGA8TOO in the whiteboard, or is it now an MGA8 bug?

Updated these packages, first in Virtualbox, then on real hardware:

lib64skgbankgui2-2.27.0-1.mga8.x86_64.rpm
lib64skgbankmodeler2-2.27.0-1.mga8.x86_64.rpm
lib64skgbasegui2-2.27.0-1.mga8.x86_64.rpm
lib64skgbasemodeler2-2.27.0-1.mga8.x86_64.rpm
skrooge-2.27.0-1.mga8.x86_64.rpm

No installation issues.

Skrooge had never been used in the Virtualbox guest. Created a new account by importing some QIF files that had been downloaded from my bank. Looked at Operations and payees, but did not attempt to organize them into categories for analysis.

Skrooge had already been used on the real hardware install, and I was able to open the existing account with no issues. Again, looked at the listed operations, and the list of payees, but did not attempt any further organization.

I am still much of a novice when it comes to using Skrooge, but this looks OK, as far as I can see. Validating. Advisory in Comment 2.
