Description of problem: s.if the mouse pointer rests in some windows (Konsole, Chrome), it disappear. This seems to be on purpose.
But it does not come back if I move the mouse. If the pointer goes ouside that window It reappears, but disappears immediately if it goes back into that window. This should not be happening, and is very annoying
. If I left click on that window it reappears for a few sec and then reappears.

Mga 8, Plasma desktop.

If I leave the mouse pointer over an active Konsole window, it does disappear after a few seconds, but it comes back as soon as I move the mouse. It doesn't happen if the window is inactive and it doesn't happen on Chromium. So, it sounds like to some degree it's an upstream design choice, but the degree to which you're seeing it is specific to your computer.

Yes, the cursor disappearing seems to have been a decision of the Plasma and XFCE folks. but it would reappear as soon as you moved the mouse. The cursor disappearing and not reappearing unless you left click seems to be a new bug. It may of course be special to my machine's graphics or graphics driver. (XPS13 9310 )or maybe some configuration but I have no idea where this would be configured. I seen nothing in the Settings page regarding this.
It is definitely a very annoying bug.

Sorry to have left this; it disappeared off the radar.
Is this problem still bugging you? If so, please post the output of:

Unfortunately I no longer remember what I did to fix the problem, but it now appears to be working properly. Whether it was a kernel update or what fixed the problem. I am sorry I did not promptly report here.
(Just for information, here is the output of inxi
