Description of problem: libvirtd running but no guests are running. The update of libvirt-utils hangs even after waiting 10 minutes. After the update has been interrupted and restarted, there are no more systemd start files for libvirt under /usr/lib/systemd/system I solved it by installing --replacepkgs over it. But it also gets stuck there because the update tries to stops or pauses the guests who are not running at all. A repeated interruption brought the desired success without deleting the systemd startup files. If you have running guests all works fine.
Thank you for the report. > libvirtd running but no guests are running... > ...The update of libvirt-utils hangs > If you have running guests all works fine Assigning to Thierry who does libvirt updates, and may understand what is going on.
