Description Guillaume Bedot 2021-11-11 17:37:44 CET
Description of problem:
Can't configure auto-login with the GUI

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.38.2.1-3

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open gnome parameters
2. click the users tab
3. unlock to modify and your root or user password, depending of your config
4. click to activate auto-login, it appears activated
5. reboot, auto-login doesn't happen

I think it's related to packaging:
custom.conf is located in /etc/X11/gdm, and gnome expects it to be in /etc/gdm

I've tried to add a link from /etc/X11/gdm to /etc/gdm, and now gnome finds the config I manually did.
