Created attachment 912 [details] AudioThumbs spec file Hello, I joined spec file for AudioThumbs (version 0.1). One needs to check Requires part. Other thing, do you know how to enable automatically this feature in Dolphin and Konqueror? In fact, when package is installed, you have to go in Dolphin options and check the box "Audio files". It would be better if it was done directly with the package installation. Could you package it? There is another version of this software here (http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/AudioThumbs?content=145088) but I cannot test it on Mageia 1 because it needs taglib>=1.7 (see http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.mageia.devel/7868) Thanks

For being enabled by default, i dont know yet, but maybe it is up to each user to enabled it?
Is the dependency for libflac++ really needed, the package does not seem to link against it.
Hello, I put this dependency because it was mention in the README file: >The following libraries and development packages are needed: >KDE >=4.3.x >QT >=4.5.x >Taglib >=1.6.x >libFLAC++6 >=1.2.x I do not know if it is really needed or not.
It could need it at build time but not at runtime. Not sure. Can you test, if it works without it?

Ok, I build a new package without the requirement of libflac++ and it works fine too. So I guess this package is not needed.
I forgot to mention that there is still the little problem described in the first message. You need to tick the box "Audio files" in the Dolphin settings.
I'm not sure that can be done automatically, since it would require the package to change settings in the user's home, which we don't do. So the user has to do it manually.
I removed the libflac++ from requires. It is needed only in BuildRequires the devel package
I close this bug as it is a new rpm request, which it is done. If you want to report a bug about the settings after installation please open a new one.
