Description of problem: Dnfdragora, can't filter by "User interface packages", and this can be confuse by a normal user, that only want see the applications with gui for install. Currently, rpmdrake can filter by this option. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Dnfdragora and Mageia 8 How reproducible: Install dnfdragora, configure repositories, and filter by "user interface packages". The option don't show. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install dnfdragora 2. Search a application and filter by "user interface packages" 3. The filter option don't show.
Thank you for reporting this. I use our RPM utilities, so do not want to install dnfdragora to try - mixing DNF with RPM. Believing the complaint, assigning this to Neal, the official maintainer; CC'ing Angelo who also has done many commits to this SRPM.

The option being referred to is the rpmdrake's default option of only showing packages with gui. The enhancement being requested it to add a similar feature to dnfdragora.

Ah it's an enhancement, ok! :D Well IIRC rpmdrake use some hackeries to do that reading a file gui.lst... I think Neal can explain that dnf has a better way to manage that, but if i'm not wrong mageia needs to work on metadata or such. But i leave to Neal to talk about it...
